Twenty-nine years of welded steel

Engineering in Bánovce nad Bebravou goes back to 1997. TANAX TRUCKS a. s. itself was registered in the Slovak Commercial Register on 29 May 2000, then a trading company for truck parts. The manufacturing came afterwards: locksmith, tool-making and metalworking work in 2006, vehicle manufacturing the same year, and a certified quality system from 2008.

The move into welded structures was not a new factory. It was the same hall taking outside drawings. A company that had spent years welding its own truck bodies already owned the laser, the press brake, the boring mills, the blasting booth and the paint line; what it had to add was the part that lets somebody else's drawing be quoted, welded and documented to a standard rather than to habit. That is what the EN ISO 3834-2 certificate is for, and it is why this site can offer execution class EXC2 to EN 1090-2 on a structure it did not design.

Today the hall runs one line. Plate arrives at one end and leaves the other cut, formed, welded, machined where a face has to be machined, blasted, painted and inspected. Eighty people work in it. The welded structures on this site and the containers on the sister site come off the same floor, under the same welding coordinator.
