Material handling and storage

Storage systems and intralogistics equipment are made of repeated welded elements that must be identical: rack bays, columns, crossbeams, conveyor frames. The robot track is built for exactly that.

The machines

Automated storage systems, rotary stores, sheet-metal storage racks and the conveyors that feed them are built from welded steel elements in series: a bay repeated along a run, a column repeated across a store. Repeatability and straightness matter more than any single dimension, because the elements are assembled into a system on site.

These elements run on the dual robotic welding station on its 14 m track, from laser-cut and folded blanks, and are measured on the FARO arm against the drawing. Painted in our booths or hot-dip galvanised on request.

What we weld for them

  • Rack bays and rack elements, repeated along a run up to 19 m
  • Storage columns and rotary store columns
  • Top crossbeams and transfer structures
  • Conveyor frames and welded conveyor assemblies for the feed side
  • Robotic welding fixtures and jigs for our own series work

System suppliers and their product names are not published on this site.
