Controller

The controller is TANAX TRUCKS a. s., IČO 36 392 171, registered office Červeňova 28, 811 03 Bratislava, Slovakia, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III City Court, section Sa, entry no. 2562/B. Tanax Structures is a brand of this company, not a separate legal entity.

Data we process and why

Enquiry form: company name, your name, email address, telephone number, country, the text of your message and the files you attach. Purpose: to answer the enquiry and, if it leads to an order, to perform the contract. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to entering into a contract at your request, and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering business correspondence.

Email: if you write to us directly, we process what you send for the same purposes on the same basis.

Website usage: this site runs first-party analytics that counts page views. It stores no identifier on your device and derives a daily-rotating, salted hash from connection data on the server to tell one visit from another for that day only. No advertising or third-party analytics scripts are loaded.

Drawings and technical files

Files you attach to an enquiry are treated as your confidential property. They are transferred over an encrypted connection, stored on a private volume outside the web server root, are never given a public address, never indexed and never shared with third parties other than the processors below. Only the engineers and sales staff quoting the job read them.

Files attached to an enquiry that does not lead to an order are deleted, together with the enquiry, at the latest three years after the last contact, unless you ask for earlier deletion.

Recipients and processors

Enquiries are stored on the company's own server infrastructure in the European Union and delivered to our staff by email. The website is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which processes connection data as a content-delivery and security provider under its standard contractual clauses. No data is transferred to a third country for any other purpose.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to answer it and, where an order follows, for the duration of the contract and the statutory retention periods for accounting and tax documents, which in Slovakia are generally ten years. Analytics counts are aggregated and contain no personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw a consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Ask through the contact page.

You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, or with the supervisory authority of your own EU member state.
