Quality

Controlled welding, measured structures

A welded structure is only as good as the system it was welded under. Ours is certified to EN ISO 3834-2, the comprehensive level, with EN 1090-2 in the certified product-standard scope, and every structure is measured before it leaves.

Execution class EXC2 to EN 1090-2

EN 1090-2 sets the technical requirements for the execution of steel structures. Execution class EXC2 is the class for most industrial structures: buildings, plant, machine frames and access steel where failure would have serious but not catastrophic consequences. It fixes the weld quality level, the inspection scope, the tolerances and the traceability the fabricator must keep.

We execute to EXC2 as standard. Where a drawing calls for EXC3 details on particular joints, that is agreed at drawing review, not assumed.

What we do not claim: an EN 1090-1 factory production control certificate from a notified body, or a CE declaration of performance under it. Neither is published by the parent company and neither is printed here. If your project requires a DoP, say so in the enquiry and we will tell you whether we can supply it.

In detail

Four pages, each transcribed from the certificates and the published equipment list: the certificates themselves, the welding standards we execute to, the materials in scope, and how the work is inspected and documented.
